forgot to mention - Yahoo (formerly Konfabulater) Picture Viewer widget. i love that widget cause it changes pictures constantly and you can go to the picture it is showing. i have a lot of images on my computer and its nice to go back and revisit the old ones. if you havn't tried out the yahoo widgets you ought to - an its free.
(not to mention you can run Yahoo widgets and DesktopX widgets at the same time (which i often do - b4 they clashed but the newest version allows them to coexist).
