Awesome screenshot. I have a problem getting Vista 5342 or 5308 sidebars to work. I keep getting an error "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)". I have a sneaky suspicion that it has something to do with the vista.emulation.dll. Can you please tell me how you installed it on your computer? Maybe I'm missing a step or something.

Ok.. I also have some kind of problem here, so i downloaded the files and the patch for the 5308build extracted
the patch into the directory with the sidebar.exe and replaced the vista.emulation.dll and than double clicked the patch following the instructions there.But it doesn't work..
could you please post a step by step guide on how you activated it?

Im having the same problem. Everytime I tried to run Sidebar.exe in either the 5308 build or the 5342 build I get an atl.dll error. I tried placing the atl.dll file in the same folder with Sidebar.exe but it didn't work. Any ideas how to get it running?

download a patch for the vista one. extract it in to the folder and run the patch. the files will dissapper. and your sidebar is patched. download:Link

Hey everyone who is still having problems launching the sidebar. I found out you need to have .net framework 2.0 installed on your computer. After I installed it, the sidebar launched perfectly
