I made the Rainlendar skins using nothing more than the the Photo Editor that came with XP and Paint as follows: This all is assuming you don't have Photoshop, Paintshop etc. If you do that would probably be easier. Get the elements from PixOS WB and mormegil's Toon Rainlendar. The image with solid blue is the xppanelright w/ xppanelbot pasted at the bottom. Make them horizontally the same w/ Photo Editor, then paste together in Paint, then resize in Photo Editor. Put this in a new folder in Rainlendar skins. Copy the stuff from Toon Rainlendar to this folder. The .ini file is pretty simple to use- open w/ notepad. Change the background to what your image is (Name it BG or something). Once you get it up play with the skin settings in the Rainlendar> Skins> Edit current skin. The large one in the SS uses the Toon images, the smaller uses the Comic font. (The Small image is just the large one at 50%) The multi color image is the xplogoff bg with the xptop pasted on as above. **If Rainlendar "Crashes" just go to the .ini file in the Rainlendar folder, rename the CurrentSkin to another skin and restart the app.** Tinker w/ it until it's the way you want. You can use other skins as guides, or inspirations. I hope some of you get something from this!! if you have Q's ask here. I am obviously not a "Skinner", but I'll help if I can

Ow yeah, just want to say 'm not stealing this idea... just look at screenshots section. made a post with a rainlendar skin on it. actually the picture of the first link given. 5/9/2003 happy 'm not the only one with that idea. lets start a skinning contest for PixOs!

vipy, I did see yours before I posted mine. I just wanted to show some variables. I've made backgrounds for Docks, Rainlendar, and ObjectBar for many WB I use. Maybe someday I'll do something original.
