Everything about it is like a big signature.
I mean we all know what it takes to design a shot, but this actually looks like an integrated theme it so well put together!

I've just started making screenies and everytime I check to see what's new I'm always blown away at what people come up with. ��

Hey everyone! Thanks for the nice comments.
In answer to your question it's practice and developing an eye. This shot took a number of hours over a few days as I tried a couple of different things. Essentially, it's a DesktopX theme. I made the black panels, the icons are converted to pngs to add the icon labels, one each for mouse away and mouse over. Finally, added the functionality. My advice is use the desktop theme as your desktop. I've been using the one in this shot for a week and I still have a couple of improvements to function I want to make. See you all later!�
