The left hand panel is called 'Western Hemisphere' by Gucken. It has been modified by me, but the original version is available at:

The right hand panel is done by me to match the left hand side, using some elements from various walls at DA and Photoshop.
Unfortunately, I cant upload the total wal as I don't have permissions from these artists, but there are plenty of great walls at DA in the Space Section....

Hey Bro, looking good... couple of things i'd suggest...
1. change your buttonface from black to something lighter..your going to run into problems in a lot of areas\apps if not.
2. Theres a TON of techy space fonts out there.. the one your using is pretty dated, pre win98.. maybe consider one of the hundreds...here... http://spacefonts.8m.com/fonts.htm

Thnx VStyler for ur hints.
I actually like the buttonfaces to be dark as they light up on mouseover, so aint had any probs with any appz in that dept (and ive used alot of appz with this skin)... guess u have to see the skin in action to get the idea of the effect.
As for the 'dated' font..... 'Future' is personally one of my favs (takes me back to my Space-Inavaer Dayz) and actually is supprisingly one of the better-looking ones to myself, on a below 10 anti-antailiased rez... guess its all subjective and its currently created for my personal use'n satisfaction. I'll take ur font suggestion under advisement if I ever plan to release or share this for anything other than my own personal use... thnx tonnes for the link to that website...I'll definately cruize over there for a squiz.

Hey, how did you skin explorer? Were you actually able to make the background transparent, or are you just using a matched piece of the background in that place? I hope it is the former because I thought Windowblinds still couldn't make the background of explorer transparent.

Not quite sure what ya mean here, but i think i got it...
Windowblinds is skinning explorer,correct. But the actual'transparancy' of the entire winow ur talking about is achieved thru an NVIDIA graphics card ...[ the software that comes with my Graphics Card has an option to make any window transparant on right-clicking or moving].
Windowblinds isnt currently able to make explorer transparant by default... though some skins do use a plug-in that enable window transparancy on certain specified mouse actions.
Is that what u meant? Hope I answered ur question sufficiently.

Ah, I see. So the explorer backgrounds and skinning of the windows is black with bright blue edging, so when you knock them down to 30 or 40% opacity, the lines still show up but the blacks just tend to darken things a abit. And well, black on (mostly) black, looks transparent at a glance. Thanks!

Amazing, I'm at a loss for words. I've been looking for a Stargate Atlantis theme for so long and have yet to find one that is this cool. While I don't plan to copy your setup because I like my desktops to be custom tailored to my needs, you do have elements which I would like to use. First and foremost is your Windows theme. Would you please tell me where you got it (link)? I'm guessing it's a Window Blinds theme, but I can't seem to locate it. That is unless YOU are the one who created it? If so, then I guess you haven't finished it yet so I can be patient and wait.

I love it Hope it comes out soon i watched stargate from the start on showtime
and well this is really the first skin that i would use becuase it looks put togeather nicly and well its great plz hurry lol before the sky falls or some thing

i have been looking for this type of skin for so long, just two things that might make it catchier to the eye. use more Atlantis type back round and incorporate things like the ancient language into the skin. i have a list of the ancient language and a translation of the characters if you would like. other than that its simply stunning! p.s. maybe make it single monitor. standard res. shane
