A Dream Began...
A Dream began, it has taken decades to reach the final graceful all powerful form it revels in today, you can imagine the dreams of the men that first envisioned these beauty's of mechanical perfection, they must have lived, slept and eaten of the mechanical genius that is the Formula One race car, designs coming from some of the best brains in the world....aerodynamics, propulsion units, carbonite fixtures Ha Ha their brains must have been bursting with excitement and the knowledge that what they built wasn't just changing the racing community, but changing the world as well.....what an achievement to know you have reached the very pinnacle of your profession and know that even though you have achieved mechanical and aerodynamic "perfection", their is still so much more to do....what a thrill to wake up to that every morning, whereas every decision you make could have a far reaching influence on the world as we know it....that must be ultra, ultra exciting....stunning, I worked with some of these guys, I was doing all the advertising and decals for the main bikes they would race in the 250cc world campionship, the company I worked for sponsored Tetsuya Harada the year he won the world championship, I mean I actually did the vinyl on the bikes that he won the last race on.....even though I had a small part to play, what a feeling, what a thrill......so I can just imagine what the people who design and dream up these mechanical marvels must feel like, the amount of accomplishment that must course through their veins, and I kinda see it like this illustration.....at the beginning, a bare chassis always in their minds, thinking, thinking, changing.....and thats it....A Dream has Begun again, and will carry on!!!!!!
