But why have Fences for your icons if you're not going to turn it on
CP does have a point here Efreak, you have fences why don't you use them to declutter your desktop from icons...otherwise beautiful wall there, and the choices you made to go with it rock, bangin' as they say in the hood

I am just learning how to use fences and am experimenting with different layouts. So I don't know how to completely declutter my desktop yet.

Nice wall! Your screenshot reminds me of my son's desktop, except his is entirely covered in game icons! I can't convince him to use any enhancements, not even Fences!

Just launch Fences! Basically it does the work for you. Then you can customize from there! Personally, I don't use desktop icons but I've tested Fences and it does work really nice! Good luck eF! ��
