Bladelore
....The art of folding and welding a blade over 200 to 300 times has been passed down from swordsmith to swordsmith in the Japanese culture for centuries, in fact some of the blades have survived these centuries and are still as great today as when they first forged...Eight of the legendary Masters, we cannot mention names here due to ceremonial purposes, had devised a way of forging a blade with over 1000 folds , these blades were unsurpassed in there quality, durability and sword flight during battle, as light as a feather and stronger than any of even today's standards in composite blades, the secrets were never supposed to be written down, we still don't know why they ever did write them down, they split the seven volumes up into 3 vaults, with the third and final vault holding the secret, the composition of the blades....now you can imagine for centuries people have been hunting these volumes down, whole villages slaughtered in the quest of the vaults, people tortured, all to do with the quest for the vaults that were to become known as "The Bladelore Vaults"....One family in particular, the Sengoku family were particularly successful in there search for the vaults, during the centuries of obtaining the vaults, there had been a lot of bloodshed, whole generations of families wiped out in order to obtain maybe just information to the whereabouts of a vault, nevermind the actual vault itself, so you can imagine the dedication and the almost fanatical fervor this family had in order to find the Bladelore Vaults, many terrible things were done, but finally the Sengoku family had obtained two of the precious vaults that were filled with generations of skill and knowledge in the art of swordsmithing.....and now finally the last one was in there reach....Sookie as she was known in amongst the families that were after the final vault was a Master swordsman, her skill with the blade was legendary, unparalleled by none but one....Tachi Muromachi....now in finding the final vault, the head of the family that had it was dying, so no matter what they did to him, nothing would make him give up the secret of the hidden vault, no family to kill, no use torturing him as he was dying anyway, so he devised a scheme to go out in a blaze of glory, Sookie would fight Tachi, the winner getting the vault and having the privilege of being the warrior to send the Old Man to the Golden Gates....his plan worked, the battle took place in the perfumed gardens of lower Manchuria, now known as a different name in this day and age, but for the story we keep it as Manchuria...it was epic, there was thrusts and parries, counter-attacks of the blind side, full frontal toe to toe fierce combinations...then Snnnikkkkt....one of them was sliced from chin to thigh with a perfectly timed killing stroke coming out of a spinning overhead lunge....it was over, one thing left to do, the old man whispered his secrets as the blade sank deeper and deeper into his chest....silence....you know who won, you can see her now, collecting the vault.....aaah what blades will be made now, will I ever get to own one, I think even if I could the amount of blood that surrounds these legends would bring more blood, but yeah you bet I'd give my eyeteeth for one of those....Whooooooeeeeee its cutting time...plus I'm just waiting for the robot to pull that clasp, Whoop Hot Diggity Dawg, that will be the day Ha Ha Ha
