Your off to a great start..im not a fan of icons on my desktop anymore, but of course you need them for inside folders, start menu , etc. Theres so many icons you could use here , but if you have icon developer, you can easily change the color of most icon sets.
Have you tried using thee new " Right Click " program ? Then you have everything you need without icons on desktop. But, thats you preference
