Okay, with your wonderful intro and fanfare I downloaded your sound package. To my surprise the file is password protected. Strange, as it may seem this package is not displayed as a "Premium" package; nor is there a price tag with it, nor do you mention the package is locked before downloading.

Now if you would like to make a deal I could offer my first child...No she is busy with her children hum what about my first born grandchild NOT in this life or the next

Really whats up???

Okay, you'll have to pardon me if I'm being a bit thin-skinned about this, but

A) you don't need the password to use the package

and

I posted this update specifically to address the fact that people were unhappy that I had used SP's password-protection option; to my knowledge, password protection cannot be removed on a package once it has been added; therefore, I posted a new version with a new password, which is listed above in the file description.

While this is not a fancy WindowBlind and I didn't put the kind of time and effort into it that a lot of the really good artists on this site do in creating their visual works, the selection and editing of the sounds for the package did involve a nontrivial amount of my time and creative energy. It didn't seem unreasonable, therefore, to protect the package, and this is a built-in feature of SoundPackager, which means that the program authors obviously thought there was some merit to its use. I rethought my position when I received the first few comments, looked back, and realized that none of the authors of the other packages I had downloaded had used this option. I understand that most of us here are "tinkerers," and the site does have the word customize in its name.

I always welcome positive and negative feedback on the merits and utility of my submissions to the site, but I hope we can put the password discussion behind us now.

Well the password is easy enough to figure out but It's a pain in the ass to have to write it in each time. It's not that good . To have to go through all of that
Dig it!!! Get it!!!! Why is it always some one that has to stick out like a sore thumb
