The windowblind has a subskin that allows you to have a transparentcy. It works only on Windows2000 and WindowsXP

Is that you B_U_BA??? you emailed me right???? I hope the windowblind question was answered. Not sure about an error for the DesktopX theme. It should be able to work if you have DX program. The theme does hide the start menu though so if you do not have one to begin with maybe that is why it is saying that. But it should still work.
