The taskbar and start menus are different substyles in the WB skin. Open your WB config and browse through the over 20 substyles.

got same bug that you vatavale, indesign and macromedia MX software seem to post unquestionable defaults
with the tool windows colors. while trying per application options or applying others skins,
nothing changes with the fonts color. The problem must certainly come from windowblind.

ok. i fix it! just edit in skinstudio:
colors > window > window-frame > 0,0,0
and Zip for distribution

there seems to be a problem with the buttons. they act like a transparant layer was never added. they are surrounded in black and behind them white.

Make sure you have the latest version of WB 4.5 and the theme will look like it does in the screenshot.

I actually had to change the %%username%% tab because it was definitely broken. First off, the name doesn't show. It sticks with the string function. Second, when I click on it, I get half the OSX face and half nothing. all I did though was change the string to my name (Duh) and set (in "Main Section" the Item Sizing option to "Size Items To Fit Content". After doing this, I got this:
