Am I the only one having trouble with the start menu in win7 with this blind? I loved this WB in XP, but can't get it to work correctly in win7.

CCdeQueen are you loading the correct substyle for Windows 7?

Yep, several times, but my little bears are all scrambled on the top of the Start Menu. They also seem to be stretched horizontally. The rest of the blind seems to function perfectly.

You just might have a bad download, try uninstalling the skin, run a cleanup program like CCleaner and reboot and then redownload. If that doesn't fix it PM or email jazzymjr, the WBs skinner, with your problem.

My teddy bears are still messed up, but my browser runs a lot faster. Thanks

Did you have the previous version of the blind still on your computer when you downloaded this version? If you did, that could explain your problem. Try this: Load some other skin, then delete this skin from the WB config window. Close the WB config window. Go to My Documents > Public > Stardock > Windowblinds. See if there is a folder in there called Santa Toybox. If there is, delete the whole folder. Re-boot. Then try downloading the blind again. Hope this works.

Thanks jazzymjr. It did not work, but I think I may have found the problem. Under control panel/Appearance and Personalization/display, make it easier to read what's on your screen, I have the setting on medium rather than the default small. I think that is what is messing up the blind on the start menu. It is the part that sticks up above the start menu that appears to be too small. Win 7 is probably magnifying the start menu in accordance with the setting and is not magnifying the extension. I'm not sure these old eyes could manage 1920x1200 at the default setting, so I will live with my scrambled bears. It truly is a fantastic blind. Thanks again for your help

CCdeQueen...I have a 1920 resolution monitor as well, and I made the blind using that monitor. I have ancient eyes, and I can see just as well as I did when I had a 1440 resoution monitor. I didn't think that changing the text size would mess up the Teddys...that's a shame.
