As my ideas are drying up this may be the last one I did. As we all can see there are a couple of great freeform skinners around and their work is, of course, highly appreciated by most people. I'm no freeform skinner, that is I'm no good in generating freeform ideas, so...Maybe, just maybe once in a while I'll do something more but for now, well sorry. (

Pinchecl, the inspiration will come! It'd be a tragedy to the SysMetrix community if you stopped your skinning work because of the occasional free-form skin. (In fact, I'd quit skinning SysMetrix altogether if I knew that was what dissuaded you from continuing). You style has evolved so much over the last few months, it would be enlightening to see what your future inspirations bring.

BTW: I like the texture of this skin. The metallic accents are so slick, like a '57 caddy!

hanks for the encouraging words mrbiotech. I hope you won't quit because of me! It's just that I think I must not upload works if they do not really add something to the great jobs people like yourself are contributing. I'm glad you can see an evoilution in my style since I do have the feeling that I'm contributing more of the same. And that's not what I want, as you will understand. Of course I'm stil experimenting but, unless I'm really satisfied with the results, it will be no more than an experiment.

I echo Biotech's words. I have been using (and skining) SysMetrix for less than a month. One of the 1st SysMetrix skins I ever saw, was yours and eventually that skin was the first one I downloaded when I got SysMetrix.
As Biotech said, it will be a shame to loose such good artist from the SysMetrix community.
I find my self drain out of ideas every so often, but there is always something that triggers a streak of ideas. I hope you find your 'groove' soon and continue to delight us with your work.

BTW, great skin pack

eeee gads ... this is indeed bad news for all of us who love your work and look forward to the next brilliant skin to pop outa your head. Well, we're behind you in whatever you decide and I'll just keep cycling through all the skins I have of your's until you get your groove back.

P, you have a lot of great styles, you cant quit now, i love all of your sys skins, if you run out of ideas , more will come to you, theres inspiration almost everywhere around you, and i know for sure that you can make it, you always come up with some great sysmetrix skins, some new sys skinners come with their ideas and you bring yours with your ideas, doesnt mean you have to quit P, all of your skins are dif, and dif ppl like dif stuff, jus give it some more chances, more and more ideas will come through, to me though, i think that you come up with them kind of too quickly , so you would run out of some ideas that way but you cant give up, just take your time and things will be great, take care budd

Don't you dare quit, your metal and glass look surpasses any. Your skins are pure perfection and I have every one of them, there is always a need for a vertical or horizontal SysMetrix especially on a busy wall. I even download the one's that don't fit (too bad the weather and WinAmp will be cut off on this one) ( I love all of them.

This is to much. I'm sure a lot of people (well, what is a lot??) do like my creations. But, and this is important, I have to like doing it. PM, maybe you are right about coming up too quickly. So the least I can do (to myself) is giving it some time and see if I can come with new ideas/inspiration. For sure I will be scanning all works of great artists like mrbiotech and apocalypse and all others (too many to mention) and hope it results in a new drive to go on. I must say, your reactions almost make me reconsider and decide to just go on. But who will benefit from works that are just the ordinairy...... Still, thanks for the positive reactions.

Not ordinary, my friend. Progressive is the word I'd pick.
