Fine work! For a first skin, you nailed some of the graphical key-points:
1) The interior curves are anti-aliased, yielding a smooth look.
2) The shading of the background is balanced and rendered to provide some depth.Doesn't detract from the meters
3) The meters are easily distinguished from the background although only subtley different. Maintains continuity of the graphical theme while still demarkating where the data is.

very good for your first skin 
, looking forward to see the next verson. Only thing that u need to do is move the center of the clock down by 1-2 pixels, the 12 is a littlr close to the top.
