yes I agree, I had originally used the digital font (as per the time display) all over but then I noticed it bore an over similairity with the Abyss skins by sittinduck which, although entirely coincidental, made me feel a bit awkward - so I went for the dot matrix effect instead...
I definitely preferred my original scheme, but as a firstimer I didn't want any hint of plagiarism

Fantastic concept and colour skin. Great details! The only negative point is the font, but don't worry this is easy to change.
Don't fell bad about similarities, this is your first skin, you will see that as you keep on doing this you will be marking your own style.

thx guys - I may restore the fonts back to my original concept then as they were easier on the eye

I'm planning to update this skin with a few tweaks including digital font and a small animation - maybe I could slip the rainy into the zip...is that allowed?

I was just fiddling around and realized I hadn't tried the great-great-great-grandaddy of the Tizzs archives... so there it sits now, giving me lots of useful readouts (for it's time).

wow that looks great Tiggz, would it be possible to make a windowblind skin, that would be great, that sysskin has some great texture and details and using that in a wb skin would be killa

Thankyou fivesballs - yeah, I definitely wanted to show the before and after. As mentioned in the author's comments this was the second skin I ever attempted and has a bit of sentimental value attached to it so I didn't want to completely erase all evidence of it's more humble origins 
Cheers Phrozen - it's a definite possibility that this could become a wb skin one day. I am currently working on something quite different (check my profile for a sneak peak) but once that's done maybe this could be the starting point for GT3 or something...

No idea as to eta of current project, I am taking alot of extra time and care on it, and I keep going back and tweaking things, which leads to other changes and balances etc. Also I'm really trying to get quite a few different skins together to release at the same time. Should be in a few weeks I guess

Great update Tiggz. I've been using SysMetrix for about a month now, so I never got the 1st skin, but Im definetely getting this one
