if i used a wireframe on this particular image, all you would see is a jumble of lines because there are so many, i made a render of it in wireframe and it took longer than the original render took itself and it was a jumble of lines because that "burst" is 3-dimensional, so it had to draw lines going in all directions and lines behind lines, etc... thanks for your comments though selfdisplaced
