I like it. just 2 things.
1) if that is supposed to be rust, you need to work on it a little more.

Oh, I like this one. The 'rust' works for me - though I thought it was stone at first. I've seen metal that looks just like this though. The top bit could be copper with the starts of copper verdigre, the bottom some sort of steel- possibly weathered by salt water? Whatever, it all works for me and looks good.
One thing I would mention though, the bottom bit of the circle in the middle seems to show 2 different textures with a clear line between them...if it's deliberate, then making it look like an old weld would look better to me...but that's a minor observation.
