Actually, as far as desktops go, I think this one works. The colors blend together nice enough to make for a decent background. It may be a little dark in areas to read text. I like it, reminds me a little of Munch.

I really hope that Wincustomize does not end up like DeviantArt. I quit going to that site due to all the "Dark" stuff that permeates that site! Please don't do that here with this stuff. Keep it there, where they really like that type of art work.

i think this is one of the best i've ever seen. its been on my desktop for weeks and i havent committed any suicide yet

'Mr.Blaine Ducote.' So there are a couple diferent backgrounds with dark textures. No reason to get your pannies up in a bunch, and say it might turn into DeviantArt. Tons of people go to DeviantArt, so guess what that means... People must like it.

Just because some people don't like dark doesn't mean it doesn't belong here. As long as there is balance on the site, all is good. As for myself, it is nice to see something besides just landscapes and futuristic "mechanical/gear" backgrounds at times. This one is pretty good. DeviantArt suffers for lack of variety. Stuff like this proves that there IS variety here on wincustomize.
