It's very good

I'd however, probably liked it even more if the surface mape JUST BELOW the water-line was a different color [instead of the "grass/moss" I see now. I'm not very proficient in doing good water yet, so most of my works simply don't have it.. and any that DO I usually keep the water NOT transparent at all hehe....

Very nice overall, tho.

hey just make another surface, but put the max altitude at the water level. that way you get rid of the grass underwater.

I like this wall alot. I differ with ion and Spyder just because every wall with this type of picture looks too picturesque... to perfect - this is very real - and there is nothing wrong with the way things are in their natural beauty Very good job - keep em comming

Pretty good, 'cept for the grass under the water...

Sun and clouds could look a little more believable as well...

Doesn't matter what I've used Spyder, I'm allowed to disagree with opinions, and in this case its just yours - no disrespect intended, but its just like the famous saying, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. and I think this is a beautiful wall.

"" ..this is very real.. ""

Not with the SAME grass under the water. THAT'S what I'm referring to. Have your opinions, but learn your plants, aquatic and otherwise, first.

If we keep this up jrsaldana will think some of us don't like the wallpaper..hehe.. if you read this jrs, I DO really like this and your TG skills are certainly beyond mine.

::sigh:: I never claimed to be an aquatic specialist - but yes Jrs I really like this wall - and its way beyond my skills as well

Alas, I never did understand TerraGen...

Also, this wall has the same problem I've noticed with a lot of TG work: It looks a little gritty. I've seen some masterful, extraordinarily photorealistic work, though. Talk to some of the masters, they may be able to help you get rid of that.

But overall, very good wall!

Err. not sure what you mean by "grainy"... Do you mean the landscape? If so, that's usually a GOOD sign. Good surface maps and a lower [than 2.0] gamma correction help achieve this.
www.begann.de - keep in mind Markus uses photoshop to touch up easily 90% of his work. [and so do many of the TG "masters".

By "gritty" I mean it seems to have a bit of noise thrown in. It's not "bad" per se, but I personally believe that it takes away from the realism ever so slightlylike a photo that was taken with an ever-so-slightly dusty ccamera lense. And I've seen some of markus's work. My God that dude is good...

Awesome wall, a 10 in my book. I base that rating on how well I could do the same work.
