This looks great. My question is how do you get such a blend and mix of color when you do something from scratch in photoshop. I can not seem to get that abstract mix of bright color range even when using blend modes and lighting effects. I always thought people used 3d programs or other outside plugins. Please let me know. I have not been able to find a tutorial on the internet on how to do those blends in photoshop. My email is pastorrich@camalott.com

As for the blending/colors question, you should check out some of the background, abstract, and FX tutorials on this site:
http://psworkshop.net/psworkshop/
- some of them are really good, and I use the site a lot for Photoshop stuff. The airbrushing technique ones I found especially helpful and interesting.
Also, www.shiver7.com has some nice photoshop tutorials as well.
