I lived in Seattle for about 3 years and loved it. It is probably the best big city to live in in the States. Winters are rather depressing, drizzle and cloudy almost all the time, and the days are very short n the Winter. But Summers are great. The days are long and the weather is heavenly. Lots of great music, art and it is one of the most progressive places in the US.
The big negative is that it is quite expensive for housing, compared to other smaller sities in other arts of the country.
Funny when I lived in Seattle I tried to get a transfer to Sydney.

Sounds like a good spot.....he's actually been living up near Port Douglas for many years.....winters will be a challenge!!...

Thanks for your compliments Guys! Yeah, the Safeco field is really nice. I work in Seattle, so simetimes right after I'm done I can go to a game. Hawkeye666 , you're right on the money. It's one of the best cities, but it is expensive. It's a good thing that those of us here that commute every day can take advantage of the Sounder train.
