I like it , it's a Great Wallpaper and have e-mailed
the Artist the link to check it out and think about
becoming a member here if he has more to share and

AzDude ....to be fair, it would have been MORE appropriate to upload an author's work under its original title...that which was given by the author.
Changing title and/or its description probably isn't wise...

As long as the person has permission or the wallpaper was designed to be widely distributed and it's good then I want it here.

It was actually about the concept of having others' walls/works uploaded here with permission, not this specific wall. The only issue of concern is/has been ensuring the permission is actually correct and proper.

Hello everyone,
I am the person who took the photo "Rock Face." I had no idea what a controversy giving my permission to post this photo would create. It's been fun reading all the comments. I would like to say that I understand and appreciate both sides of the arguement. So why doesn't "this guy" just post the photo himeself? AzDude was correct, I don't have much time to do it, plus I am on the Mac side of the universe and I am unfamiliar with creating .zip files. I did submit it to interfaceLIFT, as mentioned before, but that was a lazy Saturday afternoon and a relatively easy process. But probably the main reason I don't post "my work" here is that "Rock Face" is it. I don't have any other photos that I think are good or unique enough to post.
Those of you who mentioned the lack of resolution of this photo, you are absolutely correct; the bigger it gets, the noisier it gets. Because of that, I almost didn't submit it to interfaceLIFT. But, I decided the overall effect of the photo compensated for the lack of resolution. I'm very gratified that so many people like the photo, even with it's short comings. On interfaceLIFT, since January 17, "Rock Face" has been downloaded just over 135,000 times. And, it seems to be doing fairly well here.
Whether the photo stays or goes, or whether people think it should be here or not, I really don't care that much. I'm just content that people seem to like it.

And on that note that's all I have to say about that because apparently none of this is getting through in the first place (that whole "dead horse" scenario).
