Thanks for the compliments.
Sunrises do evoke a bit of something in all of us I suppose, and many differnt ways to enjoy them. A tourist or businessman, (dressed in a suit) walking by while I was setting up to take the photos enjoyed it in his way, (a cup of coffee and a cigarette), I would imagine it may be a part of a nice memory of his visit to my hometown, and his comment to me was something on the order of "what a sight." So in that way, to both of you, maybe it helps to capture a bit more of the morning as well.
Thanks again, and Best Regards,
Steve

Thanks for the compliments, lighthouses are unique, partly due to the nature of where they find their usefullness, seemingly in remote places at times. Not true of this one though...at the end of a pier in our town, and a part of a tourist area, motels, and restaurants and such.
Did you happen to see the lighthouse wallpaper of Split Rock Lighthouse that I uploaded, here is a link to that one if you care to look at that.

If you Flickr, a group search will uncover lighhtouse groups as well.
This in regard to Scuba diving: Over the winter beneath the ice in about ten feet of water they found a sunken vessel about a block off shore in my hometwon, just off of Park Point beach, some went down in the frigid water to take a peek...not sure of the rest of the story, but just thought to mention it.
Best Regards ...
Steve
