Thanks Richard Mohler
Did anyone notice how I offset the center of the gradient background a little to the right to give it a sense of where the light is coming from?
THANKS AGAIN!

Very reminiscent of the Aqua series by Jairo Boudweyn. Have a look http://jairob.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?p=7

I don't think ******http://jairob.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=11268&libid=8*****even looks close to what I have achieved with this piece.
His gallery does look very nice, thanks.

It's a compliment. I have the entire Aqua series and yours as well.

That's kind of "blowing your own horn" don't you think? A little arrogant as well. Jairo's walls are much more detailed and refined, not to mention glossier and glassier. Your's is somewhat "ragged" around the edges but still a decent piece of work. I'm just not crazy about you comparing yourself with another artist and claiming to be "better".

Hello mightmouth
1) You could have been a man and emailed me. Instead, you hide behind this site and run your mightmouth. This shows what kind of person you are and that your opinion is totally worthless in the real world. I bet you are a whole five-foot one and a half inches tall.
2) Seems I struck a nerve with you. You are rude and opinionated. Being a paying member does not allow you to deem anything, the only privilege you have is that of kissing my sweaty ass after I go for a morning jog. You can keep your opinions off this page mightmouth, or have you nothing better to do with your aimless life? Yes, I did think this page was for blowing praise my way as you so belligerently stated. Not for paying members with no art on their page and severe personality flaws to spend their life harassing people that do upload and share their works.
3)
Finally, your, BTW, is wrong. I had three and a half stars until you came along here. Big deal, little star, keep it. And Ive seen the likes of you down vote a friend of mine on here....even after Nikos put his five stars on top of his wallpaper it only moved one star up. These stars mean something to people out there who have nothing in their small worlds, like you. Once more, your silly little stars do not mean beans to me, take them all mightmouth. Keep deeming and subjecting others to your dictation. It doesnt work here with me. Take a long walk off a short pier for all the world cares.

Iain, I just dont get it. I never once said I was better than this guy. What is it with you people? This wallpaper was compared to his style. And I merely said that this looks better than his orange wallpaper. Not his entire gallery or him personallyhello??? One more time, I feel this Glass Citrus Treat looks better than his Aqua Orange. ..One work compared to one work. Do you understand now??? You all are entitled to your opinion, if you think an orange glass ball and no detail on leaves is better than this, I am alright with it. I just do not agree with you. Are you all denying my right to voice out my opinion? I am alright with that too. You all are my inspiration. Thanks

1) You still do not get Iain, I am not trying to 'copy' his style. If I were, these would look like glossy glass. And there is no key line around the shapes. I selected the shape and contracted the selection to make the highlights. I selected the shapes and brushed them with linear dodge to get the lower highlights.
2) There is no splatter either, I put a pattern style over the layer, blend to multiply, and then put that layer in a 'group' layer so I could 'sphere' it to oval, thus giving it a 'skin' look.
3) Why do you keep going on about me and this guy. I am happy he has made some dough with his works, good for him truly. But what's that have to do with me? I never claimed to be some wizard.
4) I can make an orange colored glass ball Iain, I took it the next level. This is not suppose to look like a glass ball. It's original title was,'Frosted Glass Orange' and maybe I should have stuck with that.
5) Everyone sees glass leaves and cries out I am ripping on someones style. Get over it and leave me alone about it. Again, if you like the orange glass ball as an orange then love it. If you want one with texture and a more realistic feel then download this and let it be.
6) As a matter of fact, I do have a lot of work coming in that I do right here from where I am typing this now, home, freelance. Leave me an email Iain and I'll send you a orange glass ball with a leaf on it.

2) Please leave me alone and stop casting your lame judgment on me. I feel like you are 'trolling' me. STOP IT NOW. Move on with YOUR life and STAY OUT OF MINE. Go draw stick people in the sand or do something else you know how to do.
3) You can suspect all you want inside your bubble,... buddy, why don't you just stay inside of it and keep your mouth shut and your eyes open. Who knows, you might just learn a thing or two....buddy.
4) Give me an email and I will prove I can do what I say. I'll send you a PSD and end your drama that will silence you and your opinions of what I can and can not do.
