Yeah,I felt that the edges of the snowflake were a little too sharp, so I blurred them a little bit.

Rather than blur the snowflake, why not add a little drop shadow to soften the edges.
Another small point: the lighting should be coming from the top, as the shadow on the panel suggests.
Not criticism, just details.
