I say you've succeeded beautifully!!! 
"Feel free to resize, recolor or otherwise change it around for any non commercial purpose " ... I would not include "otherwise change it around", someone may think that is a green light to take it, and make it their own in some way. Colors the same thing, you decide the colors....sizing is different, depending on who you talk to...Just remember to always render the largest you can or to a specific size...then your image can be resized smaller just fine, but not any larger. Something to do with ratios...and that's math, not my strong suit!!

Thank you all so much for the comments! I am glad you liked the colors and title. I've been trying to do things that aren't the standard colors, so it's nice to know that the risk paid off. Teddybearcholla, thank you for the sizing advice. I am used to posting to a blog site which has a size limit, so I will adjust to the differences here now that I know. I am hoping that's the reason my next couple of uploads did not make it into the gallery but only into my personal site. Hopefully when I understand the preferences of users here better, they may accept some of the ones I upload in the future.
