Hmm, I offset "Once In A Blue Moon" and it received a rating of two and was placed in my personal gallery. In my opinion it is a better render than this one. Apo doesn't give you much option to move the blur and keep it round and I felt the surroundings were an integral part of the center. I try to measure success by downloads and not ratings but appreciate your constructive criticism. I have not had much success with the offset theory but have tried it on many of my recent renders.

Actually, you should look at the other one that you uploaded at the same time. Compare the composition to this one. It has over twice the downloads of this one.
I have a feeling that you others were put to your personal page because they were too close to ones that were already put through to the gallery.

Comparing this to Gold Techno is like comparing apples to eggs! When I posted the comment, the consensus on the downloads wasn't definitive yet! I still can't see why Blue Moon was rated so low. It is a good render. It is a toss up on what appeals to the community and constantly amazes me as to what succeeds and what doesn't. Most Apo artists I have reviewed do center their symmetrical renders but offset the non symmetrical. I will continue to endeavor to come up with a happy medium. I don't know if you have ever dabbled in Apo, but making things do what you want isn't always the easiest thing to do!
