Many thanks Jazzi and Amit. 
My original wall was blue with a pinkish centre. I added a grey centre corner gradient as a multiply layer. Converted the gradient layer to sepia and tweaked the hue and sat before merging to get the final look.

I don't know how you get your colors to blend like that, but it's very pretty!
