The sky(fine work)looks like a few time after sunset,or before sunrise;the "earthy" part(grass, river, trees)are nearly in full light. They looks like from 2 different moments of the day.I think(just my opinion)you should take more care about these things. These are landscapes, not abstract, surreal or fantasy.

The work,of course,is fine and the wall is nice!!

Thank you Lou and Jinks!

As I watch the sunset out my front window every evening, quite often just as the sun slips below the horizon and the moon is barely visible, there is an eerie glow across the fields. It is that phenomenon that I was trying to recreate. Sorry you can't see that here.

But they are fantasy. It was composed in Photoshop and not a painting. I am having trouble understanding when you say these are landscapes and not fantasy or surreal in this case. For me this scene is an artist's impression of something they have seen and has tried to represent the image which they hold in their minds.Otherwisw she could have just taken a photograph. Of course this also is just MHO. I have never seen this phenomenon, so I can't really say. Your advice is interesting to me. I ill definitely keep this in mind when I compose also. Thank you.

Frankie I like this wallpaper. I find the quality of your work shows in the download couts. Thank you. Here's one more DL

I really hope you don't misunderstood my comment.Your intention is clear and the wall is very fine.

Just few words...What do you mean"But they are fantasy"?For example, make the river in this wall GOLD YELLOW or DARK GREY,do you think it's fine?Of course you can make a yellow river if you like, but you have to put the right things around it!However,I like to painting(oil colours, not skinning)so perhaps my view is influenced,I don't know. But if you make realistic landscapes(Twilights Glow is a realistic one;Frankie's intention was to recreate some lights and air density effects she SAW IN NATURE)I don't think skinning rules can be a lot different from real painting ones.

Different if you make FANTASY landscapes(something you HAVEN'T SEEN IN NATURE):in that case,of course, you can make orange sea, purple sun,red moon, silver grass....

One more thing:I like this wall too!!

It's all good! I don't like controversy. I was just explaining where I was going with the  image. I am never averse to constructive advice and take it as a learning process. I am glad you like it and will be the first to admit that I have always had a slow learning curve when it comes to lighting but this is how my minds eye remembers it!
