"You know the dealer, the dealer is a man
With the love grass in his hand
Oh, but the pusher is a monster
Good God, he's not a natural man
The dealer for a nickel, Lord, will sell you lots of sweet dreams
Ah, but the pusher'll ruin your body
Lord, he'll leave your, he'll leave your mind to scream"
Steppenwolf 1968

Didn't know you were a musician. I'm assuming rock as you were playing in a concert with Steppenwolf. Did they ever find out why they cancelled?
I saw Steppenwolf in concert in Austin, TX in 1968 or 1969, can't remember which. It was a mind blowing experience. They had an equipment issue, and played an instrumental part of a song for 30 minutes while fixing the problem. I'll never forget this experience.
