Ugly is a matter of perspective.Not everything has to be nice,clean and glassy.Sometimes there is more to an image than just form.Thank you for your comments.

actually this is pretty cool, to me anyway...It looks like it was painted with phosphorescent (Jafo?) paint and a brush. There's a definite quality to the 'brush strokes' that is appealing.The bottom part seems to be in turmoil and the top part is desperately trying to grow out of it, to escape to a better fate. It struggles to attain beauty from the chaos it came from. The birds represent the goal...freedom, flight. Well, whatever 
I like it.
