Thank you! Something *was* just around the bend, but my scene file got accidentally deleted (and it was new enough that I hadn't backed it up yet)...it'll be at least a few days now (

Jungle Glade has been my computer's wallpaper for several days now. How long did it take Vue4 to render the image? CPU speed and video card?
Jungle Glade, Eternity and XP Glass Corona are my favorites. I use Stretch to make your wallpaper fit my 1024 screen.javascript:smilie('')

I think this one only took a couple of hours to render, actually: there weren't any fancy glass/water effects, and the alpha planes sped up the background rendering, so all it really had to do were the foreground plants. I've got a 2.26 gHz processor and a gForce4 MX (yeah, I've been meaning to replace that). I realize the 1600x1200 is kind of big, but it's pretty easy to automatically fit it as a wallpaper, and some people have that big of monitors (not me though!)

you did an awesome job on the water! it's so easy to mess that up and have it look totally fake.
