I used to do 3d modeling so I'm gonna give you more constructive criticizm besides "oooh" and "ahhh.". A real wave would have a dip inside the funnel due to the sucking down of the undercurrent before it comes up the back of the wave. There would also be disturbance beyond the wave (in front) and the funnel would come to a crash somewhere in the background. If this was done in bryce you can probably do all that with metaballs.
