This is just a rip of FOOOD's icons posted without permission or even credit.

Well it might be from an image editing program and be edited slightly and then it is fine because he did the eidting but if it is so close then it would be a problem but a lot of these look like things I have seen many times before

No, its not a rip of his icons, since its just a widget and will use whatever your system icons happen to be.

S&K: The file has no extension. Whats it supposed to be so I can rename it?

CerebroJD....just extract the zip in your widgets folder, it'll put a capgun folder with all the images and the .guiwidget file

UpsidedownGC and Lazlo Woodbine....get a clue before you go accusing someone of a rip...This file contains no other author's work and CerebroJD is right...whatever Icons are in place on YOUR system will show up on YOUR startmenu.

Just a comment about sizes : it depends on the language used (I mean for the "all Programs" + arrow side).
Ex in french "All Programs" is "Tous les Programmes" so you have to take care to keep enough size for that side to be large enough to be well displayed in all languages (i gess the problem exists with other languages than french ... )

Okay....first I want to apologise to UpsidedownGC...you didn't actually come straight out and accuse me of a rip. I just got peeved when I read Lazlo Woodbine's comment after reading your comment which only questioned the file.

Neophil...you are right...you'd have to add enough pixels to the "All Programs" button to accommodate hiding the text in different languages. It would also have to be tweaked if your are using small icons vs. large icons too

When someone get's a skin up and running with this widget, please let me know how it worked out for you It's only a basic menu that I'm sure will need some margin tweaking once you use your own graphics for the StartMenu buttons. Thanks

Essencay, I screwed up.
I now see that this isn't a rip.

Mea Culpa.

After you extract the file. Open the skin you want to use the image in. In SkinStudio go to File => Import gui widget this opens the Skin Navigator to GUI Widgets...you should see the CapGun folder here. Just open it and import the CapGunXPStartPanel. If for some reason you didn't extract the folder to the SS Widget folder, Use the Install GUI Widget from disk button to find it.

If you have a WB skin opened, you should be able to import or export a widget. If you don't it'll be grayed out. I am using SkinStudio Professional Version 4.2.0, Build 900.
