Agreed, this is super slick. You guys both really kicked ass on this one. The design is tight and more features than you can shake a stick at!

hey, the last skins in GUIO was made by the old school skinenrs out there, cool 8) you too did a great job but the fact that you were inspired by invicta you can not miss. I dun wanna say that it is something bad, only a fact

This is great, that undock-dock EQ is the coolest thing I've seen! Excellent stuff!

About that undock-dock EQ, did you get the idea from Opal Redemption?

Pretty damn 1337! It has a very slick techno look, and the EQ rocks.

This skin too has the seek to zero bug in the seek slider.

Alpha Drone: I plan to release a slightly updated version to all the regular spots after the competition. i'll try include this in it

Plague_: Nope never used the skin, was entirly my own idea... but i'll check opal redemption to see what its like

CarlosP: I do really like Invicta and as a result the skin is comparable but i did not go out and say "im gonna go copy invicta", remeber that this is a remake of a skin that i lost before it got coded. and that graphic was made around the same time as Invicta...

keke lub how the old school guys have come in and rocked the competition!

Michael very nice design on this skin my friend
The only thing I should add immediately is gfx for the tooltips, it's damn bad to see a well designed skin to have default "light yellow" tooltips, I hope you agree.

Keep up the good work and good luck.

Actually, VAG, I kinda think the default tooltips are better than most non-default ones.. It's the same with the right-click menu, in Winamp 5, it cannot be skinned and frankly, I think that's a good thing because most skinned menu's look crap or are really hard to use because of odd colorcombinations etc..

i would just LOVE to see a WMP9 port of this. Any chances of that happening?

ScottyK - i would be more than happy to let someone port it for me, in fact i would help them gfx wise. But as for doing it myself, doubt it...

Not sure about the tooltips, both are good points, i think some things are best left unskinned...

Plague I agree about the right click menu, but as you know only in WA3 was possible to skin this.
In WA5 it's not but I insist, so good design should have it's own tooltips IMHO like almost else Modern Skin has

Of course Michael it's up to you if you skin tooltips or not I just put my 2cents to something I believe would better in my eyes while using the skin.

Peace and LaterZzz

I must say that this is my absolute favourite in this competition so far! Incredibly slick and smooth, nice features (love the eq), awesome color themes and I don't know why but the level bars are mesmerising.

I'm having one teeny problem though. Upon installation a config screen popped up where I could choose antialiasing and type of shadow among other things. I chose my prefs, closed it and now I can't access it. When I click main menu-> options->Resurgence nothing happens. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the skin but it still won't come up. I'm using Winamp 5.03. Is it a bug or is it a local problem?

Thanks again for this little gem! Good work!

Are you sure the main windows are being shown. If that fails sounds like you need to delete your winamp.ini and studio.xnf files to reset your settings back to default...

I uninstalled Resurgence, deleted winamp.ini and studio.xnf, reinstalled Resurgence and it still doesn't work, nothing happens when I click on Resurgence in the main menu. The main window shows up aswell as the playlist, vis, video, media library and the implemented config screen for color themes, notifier etc. but the config screen for setting shadows that's included with the skin only showed up on the first install which seems to be impossible to revoke since the Resurgence option in the main menu seems to be...defect or corrupted somehow.

did anybody talk to you about the timer yet? it's a real shame that it screws up when you play a song that is longer than 9:59. You should consider making smaller numbers for the next update

883: yea, but on the other hand, it looks sooo damn good with those large numbers, so making them smaller would kinda be a shame too... Hmm, what a dilemma..
