The only thing I would like to see differently would be to drop the metalic fins from around the main skin. Oooo, it would be so trim and nice looking.

I think the metallic exterior is what makes this so cool. it has that subtle asymmetry that is just unbelievably awesome. But, I think the shade mode could use a little pumping up. And if you could add a mini mode then you're set for everlasting glory.

I'm not sure how this is supposed to work, but, in the config window, the pulse slider and checkbox don't seem to do anything. The pulse effect does not stop when I uncheck the checkbox, and the slider doesn't change it's flicker speed.

wow, simply awesome. it's a bit confusing at first, but still, wow.

Alpha Drone: the slider makes the pulse slower, not faster, placing it too hight will result in a pulse speed that is barely noticeable. But I assure you, it works.

I agree with mr rogers. i think dropping the metallic fins would make a great skin even better, as it is it's a bit too big. other than that i think the skins graphics and layout are outstanding

I don't know J_, what about the checkbox? I don't think the slider works, though I'll take your word for it. Also, there's another bug. Sometimes the seek or volume regions will get stuck in active mode, that is, they stay highlighted.

yeah alpha drone, that it stucks in highlighted state is a bug. However it's something that I tried improving but failed .

THe checkbox and the slider should work, it's as fast when the thumb is at the left side of the slider. And of course is toggled on. It should work without problems on winamp 5.03. Maybe you can give it a try completely uninstalling winamp and reinstalling it.

No worries, though. Sometimes I like to keep them highlighted to make it look cooler. Even though your skin is huge, I like to keep it always on top because it looks so damn cool! Anyway, are you going to make a minimode? That would rock.... and a better shade mode.. please.... pretty please?

hm, only a few color groups, theming should be easy. Interested? I'm sure I could come up with a couple...

I agree with 883, Machina needs more themes. More 1337 themes!

If you want to make more colour themes I would be more than happy to add them in the next update.

Alpha, I like my shade mode. I designed it as something I would actually use, with no features I didn't find essential for simple playlist control. The skin is large because it was designed for large res desktops, like mine.

At least give the shade mode a simple yet good vis, and a few buttons for PL/Eject. I don't really mind though. I just want a mini mode since I usually just use global commands. What resolution so you use? 1280 or 1960?

J_, if was to submit some themes, would you accept them into a final build? I just love this skin and it would be awesome if I could contribute something to it.

I would have to agree with Alpha Drone on the mini mode. It seems like lots of skins are jammed with lots of features a buttons that I don't believe should be there. That's why it's a mini mode.

J_ as for designing it for a large res....why???! I have an lcd screen, the res doesn't get much bigger. I would just love it without the metalic flaps on the side. So trim and beautiful.

I use 1280 res. I would never, ever put a vis on the shade mode. The vis a functionless piece of superficial gloss, and goes completely against the ideal of my WS mode - minimalism. If I want to open the pl or whatever, I use the right-click menu. If I had time, however, I would have designed it so when the WS mode is stretched, more buttons appear.

Just for clarification, what IS everyone's issue with "big" skins? Firstly, this skin isn't that BIG. Check the classic skin. Put the EQ side-by-side with the main and check the size. But really, who cares anyway? Are you guys constantly having Winamp overlapping your windows? And if so, doesn't the normal (classic or modern) skin get in the way anyway? I seriously don't understand people's issues with the size of this skin, and most others. If you have 800x600 res and it takes up half your desktop (oh no, you're background is slightly covered), you aren't likely to be able to run this skin without 100% CPU load anyway. It's a skin for modern hardware.. What can I say?
