You can run WindowBlinds on Windows XP. Just choose Windows clsasic and load WindowBlinds. I'm running it right now. And remember, WindowBlinds skins more on XP than XP does. So if you want Windows XP to truly look like Windows XP you have to (ironically) run WindowBlinds.

Unbelieveable. [?] I people complain about XP skins and as soon as Dan does one it's all ok and he has done the 'best Luna' by far..good grief you people just SO MUCH have double standards. My Luna skins are accurate, and I got nothing but grief! I think this says much about the integrity of some people on this site really..

Don't be angry thecat2000! You have done a lot of skins and I think that the number of downloads shows clearly that your work is greatly appreciated. I have made just a few skins but I think none of them got so many downloads. I rest my case!

fact is, all those graphics came from MS, you didn't do really anything "original" neither did dan, just ported them over.
i could also whine how you took a good majority of your WinXP icons from the first ones i made (after 2465 build), cuz i d/l your newest, and some of them are still the same icons i created, however, i just copied them from XP, so i have no right to really complain.
chill, you're doing a fine job, however, i'm gonna use dan's skin for now, as it is my fave.
if you don't like it, leave then, noone's holding a gun to your head.

I love the start menu, and the silver theme is by far my favorite. It's very clean and crisp too, no choppy graphics. Very pretty. Oh, and the drop down menu's don't go all over the screen like other luna skins. Thanks for the great skin!!

Citizen Solace. I am afraid you are quite mistaken about the XP icons you refer to. They are not yours, as I have *Never* downloaded any sets from you. Sorry to say that, but thats the truth. DJ-Ravensburg and myself put these set's together thorugh DJ-Ravensburgs contacts. You dont have any part to play in the WinXPset. So what more is there to say on that ?

*yawn* sorry I am getting tired of this XP debate. It is quite boring. If I siad I didn't download your stuff then take my word for it I did not. It is possible you have overlooked some things though here. 1)I may of downloaded some one elses Pack in the old icon packs. But not yours. They may of got the icons from your pack and so on. As a matter of fact, if I replaced all of the original XP icons with better quality ones. The original set had bad 16 million colour depths,. of 48x48. Are you sure you still want to claim credit for them ? shall I go on ?? I replaced them, and repaired the icons that were damaged in other icons. If you had noticed any of these icons in the first place then you should have sent me a nice e mail to explain this in a mature and adult way. I am a resonable woman I would have posted credits to you as well..

One last comment on the XP skins though. 1)Dan I am in no way reflecting on you in my comments here, this is purely about the bloated XP skins that have now appeared since my releases.
Also* I feel quilty of the fact that I have helped these new batch of skin appear in the first place, and you people doing XP skins are now just copying an old hat idea.! There is no longer any creativity here. and I feel that people are not really learning any new skills any more from doing XP skins that just look identical to another one. I hope some one understand the direction I am trying to point out here. I HAVE done original work before XP, how many of you have ? Lets now get on to doing something original and proove your real skills as skinners.

Hey Dan ! I actually just found out today that the 'Homestead' theme in windows XP has now been renamed to just 'Olive Green'. Yes, it isn't Gold either.. its Olive Green. .. as of build RC1 
So homestead does not exist now especially not in GOLD ! [Oh well] maybe you can change the colours though !

Lairhg ti don't know if anyone else has noticed, BUT>>> CodeByte did a way better job on the start menu, if you look at the start menu of cat's, it looks grainy, it actually looks as though it was copied and pasted off something else, no offense that is how it looks it's real obvious. But on code bytes it looks crips and clear almost as if he made it himself, either way that alone makes his versions better since u see that right away. I think everyone is dumb for argueing about it maybe u should both work together to improve on the one u have made seperatly since you both have errors in your versions
