I love the theme, however it turns some menus (Photoshop and AVG that I have tested) to black text on black background. Makes it kind of hard to read.

Yes, as said in the that's a problem of "Note:" of this skin, there are dumb programmers that don't respect windows color scheme.Even big programs like Photoshop don't respect it. Microsoft should go after big companies to start respecting the color scheme. It's one of the prerequisites to be a windows certified program - respect color scheme. And photoshop is version what now? 8? When i have to use it, i switch color scheme to a lighter one But usually i know where the buttons and text are . I hope they respect the color scheme next version... that's what i've been saying during the last 4 version upgrades, heh

Talking about windows certified programs...heh...The windows search dialog does not respect the windows color scheme. Sorry but i cannot do much here. However you can revert to the classic windows search. One way to do this is using Tweak UI (available from microsoft). Once installed, go in Explorer item settings, and select Use Classic Search in Explorer. I've been using this dark scheme for years now. And i've made compromises. When the application is shitty and doesn't respect the color scheme I switch to a lighter application. Some programmers never tghought about the possibility of having a black bagkground. grrr

There you go... a flamer.
heh... i've tested it for 3+ years!
Read the notes!
There are dumb programs that either need some setup (like MSN). While others don't respect windows color scheme (like photoshop) and is due to bad programming and not from the skin - i'm sure MS is pissed off with big programs that don't do a simple job of respecting the windows color scheme. I have said this a million times.
Regarding MSN i use it every day without problems. You have to change the text to automatic color and if you prefer you can also set the background image to some black background. If you have problems, be a gentleman and send an email with your problem. I use this skin all the time and if you really want to use the only completely dark skin, I can try to help you out with your problems. Shouting around "to test" doesn't really help much...does it?

------- Yes Sir --- It sure is 'DARK'! It's one of the 'better' dark - black skins I've used and really quite pleasant to use though not as a steady diet. The One thing that I have to give you credit for, that NO ONE else takes the time to do, is explain in detail why the fonts are screwed up on some sights and how to make them readable. Too bad that 'Joe' average has to deal with all that mixing when I've seen other dark - black skins that have already solved the problem.I'm probly missin' sumtin here but if they could do it,why not on this one?--

Hmmm... I will check about this then. I never saw a completely dark skin before. Most of them don't define a dark background and whitish text. However i will check if there exists one similar to mine who have solved these issues. Will keep you posted. If you have saw some skins who have solved the issues could you post their names here?

This has always been one of my favorite skins. I am probably being repetitive and annoying here, but the conflict that you mentioned between the skin and certain apps has been, for me, an impediment to using the skin. I understand what you are saying about the app programmers that fail to use the function you noted or something equivalent. Could you call them all and ask them to stop being such stupid 4sses?

One issue needs to be addressed IMO, I made adjustments to the descktop color schemes, and I can save it into a theme, but I can get the theme to load up in Windows during start-ups. I addressed all of the font problems with windows applications, but I have to restart the theme everytime I boot-up windows. Everything else is great! Also, create a font color adjustment to any browsing tools if you can. That would help to fix a few other problems. 90% out of 100% if you ask me. Dark is cool. I can live with the little problems for now.

Absolutely incredible skin! I too am speechless after having just installed it. I read the posts on here and see the problem with the dialog box of the Windows Search function and a couple other things, like the Submit button on here to submit my post. Oh well, it's not a perfect world and not your fault! I too do not understand why you only received a 3 star rating. Deserves at least 4 if not 4 and 1/2!! Thank you so much for making it. I do have one question, where is that Wallpaper?

Cheers
