I get a short pink line one pixel high and about ten long at the bottom of start button, starting from just below the yellow bit of the flag. It goes away if I remove the transparent pink in the start bitmap - do you really need it, anyway?

You've also included the thumbs.db file, which doubles the size of the skin unnecessarily.

Oh, and you're missing noshape=1 in your [personality] section, which can speed up the movement and resizing of windows if they're square.

Thank you very much for your information TheGreenReaper

About the "short pink line", I don't see any line, I am using this skin for a week now.

aussieboy,
I think you have to adjust your monitor settings any way the colors are exactly the same with the zoomed preview and are very light lilac.

It doesn't show up all the time here - currently only on mouseover, but it was showing in normal state the time before. Screenshot at http://www.bath.ac.uk/~cs1lomp/lilac.gif

This is very nice, thank you! I have had trouble with many other XP skins here... mostly the taskbar buttons don't line up with the rest of the taskbar (that happened in XPProfesisonal, I still can't fix it). But this one lines up perfectly! No muss, no fuss. And it's a nice soothing color. I have two questions though: I have what appears to be a bevel running the length of the bottom of the taskbar right along the bottom edge of the desktop. Is there something I can do to get rid of it? If not, it still doesn't look bad. What font are you using for your taskbar and menus in the screenshot? I like it.

I still don't see any line at all, I saw it only in your link, so I can't fix something that works fine in my computer.

Spiritus,
Thank you very much for your comment
Can you send me please a screenshot with the problem to undestand what you mean? Thank you.
I am using the font Tahoma.

******* UPDATED *******
Thanks to TheGreenReaper for making me see a minor bug, witch was invisible to my monitor and it has been fixed.

Pretty good skin! Thanks.
Some small advice: the red(?)
- rectangle for the hide/show icons arrow looks annoying on the lilac background.
- Some bevelling for on_mouse_over for the menu headers on the menu bar may be better. XPCobalt has a good implementation of this.

Great skin! I've been using it for a week now My favorite WB skin ever, along with Alexandrie's XP Forest.

maysteng,
Thank you for your advices, the only thing that I must disagree is about the red, I thing that it goes perfect with the lilac, just my opinion

i recently installed xp. i would like to know if it is possible to install your great skins without using windowblinds. i.e. putting them directly in c:\windows\resources\themes (where the basic windows themes that come with xp are located) thanx

Winfield,
I don't think so, but I am not sure. Why don't you try the public version of WindowBlinds from the www.stardock.com ?
