Looks great, works great. I disabled OB to check the start button (98SE) and it looks good. I prefer a bit more of a border on the sides for balance but on the whole one super skin. Hope you and VA win some money...

Thanks for the response. I changed to a differnt skin and then back and the start/taskbar item fit was perfect. I am running XP Pro. Understood on the color interface. Thanks again for the response and the great skin.

I have probably a really stupid question for you grayhaze, or anyone else who might know the answer. How do you use the custom color versions? I can't find where I can change the color? btw......this skin is awesome!

i'm currently trying to work out why you can't set the custom colour through the display properties as you can with other skins. for the time being, you need to go into windowblinds options and set the custom colour using the button on the skins list dialog.

Just wanted to say this is a great skin! I've tried lots of them and this is my personal fav. The design and colors look very nice. I also like how you have Winamp and the clock built into it. I've seen others that had a similar Winamp control bar, except I didnt like how they had them on the skin. Plus I like how yours auto-minimizes Winamp when it runs it.

Fantastic skin It is my fav. I have sen nothing better. I will not use anything else. I have 1 minor problem. If I use the quick launch taskbar in XP The clock doesn't display right.

So now that the skin has been upgraded, surely it's metalX v1.1?
This is one on my favourite skins; when you update it again (v1.2?), I've noted on the Windows XP StartMenu|Connect To|Show All Connections that the green highlight as you select your default connection extends to include the far right border of the box... It's the little things But in a skin as perfect as this the little flaws stand out a mile...

Very cool! But as with rockafire1, the buttons on,say, the window blinds main screen appear black and sketchy instead of green and cool (same with all pop up boxes) in windows 98.

i may possibly create an objectbar theme for those who desperately want the win xp taskbar, but are using win 98 or 2000. depends how high the demand is...
