Contour tracer>> Could you please send me a screen grab, along with details of your Windows version and WindowBlinds version? I'm using Windows XP with WB 3.1, and everything works fine. The screenshot is actually of my desktop running the theme, so you can see the taskbar does work.

Oh, I had one question..

Why don't the 'Display Properties' get skinned?

Comment #68 Thursday, February 28, 2002 12:58 PM
TheGuest>> By default, WindowBlinds doesn't skin the 'Display Properties' window because it's possible for a bad skin author to create a skin that crashes any window that uses it. If 'Display Properties' was skinned, there would be no way to change back to a safe skin from a bad one.

Ahh.. Thanks, that makes sense.

I thought it might be something like that, however I saw a screenshot of someones desktop that showed thier 'Display Properties' skinned along with everything else. I suppose there is some say to get around it.

I'm a sinner for using this and turnning the Key: "gama down" one notch it looks better or I can focus on the window portion instead of the blinds themselves

grayhaze,

I saw that another skin used the "TransTool" from http://go.to/WBStuff and it made the backgrounds in their explorer windows transparent. I downloaded the program and couldnt get it to work with your skin. Is that because you skin does not support it or is that because I'm doing something wrong?

Thanks,

I love this skin Grayhaze, been using it since I downloaded it.
I reckon the smart money will go on this taking the 'best skin' catagory, and probably 'best use of plugins' too.

I am using win98 and wb 3.20
problem with button skins, they are unreadable and many different colors appear in a scrambled pattern.

NileLegend>> If you read some of the previous comments you'll see that the color can be changed to blue or any other color you like.

grayhaze>> I saw a nice feature on another skin that would be cool if you added to yours. If you look at this https://www.wincustomize.com/library/accounts/MikeBryant/winxp/Platitude_ss.jpg , you'll see he added a button that makes the whole window transparent. If you could include that in your skin I would really like it. Other than that I like your skin more than the others I've seen. Addin a few extras would just make it even better

Just the VERY BEST SKIN I have seen, and most important, it's the only one that has been used for more than a day at a time. I LOVE IT..... GREAT WORK..

Hey I love the skin! I just wanna know if the shareware version of WindowBlinds supports color changing? I have the shareware version (as if you couldn't tell) and I am having difficulty changing the color of the skin.

great work grayhaze, but you should take a look at your taskbar in both of your skins, there is a problem. I really like your work.

Love the skin.. even though i'm partial to blue myself.. only prob is for me the custom colour whosit only shows the gamma correction but not the colours.. i have to go to another custom colour skin and pick the clour there and then come back to this one to see the custom colour

Your dinks skin was one of my fist favourites. This is a great update now that I have XP. It has to be an exemplar of what can be done with WB.
