I tried several times to down the skin but never was successful. I thought that I should send the comment because others may also have experienced the problem.

Well, when I looked in my folder it renamed itself to Steel Lava (1). Someone said because windowblinds reads it as Lamda. Perhaps it works if you do not have Lamda installed, and it does not work if you do since windowblinds seems to think you already have it once.

If I look in the Steel Lava folder I see it contains the Lamba.uis May be this explains the problem?

You have to rename the .uis file from "Lamda.uis" to "steelava.uis".
Then, you have to open the "steelava.uis" file with Notepad and with the command Replace from the menu Edit just replace the word "Lamda" with "steelava". Do the same thing with the file "xpstuff.xp". That is all you have to do! It's easy

For all those that have a problem with the mdi-bottons in Steelava:

My Steelava skinned windows show a shattered view of the resize and the close mdi-button. I compared the measurements of the .bmp with a skinstudio template and noticed that the .bmp should have a width of 180 pixels, instead of 169.4, which it standard has. I changed the size accordingly, and this solved the problem. The only thing is, that they now have a slightly vague appearance. Does anybody now a better solution?

What a waste. You've got to be mental to create this. So many nice looking - professional themes and then this one pokes out and ruins everything. I feel sorry for the people that downloaded it.
