M_e_g and websnake, the icons look like a slightly modified version of Block OS Hangon from treetog: https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=2&SkinID=686

scratch_pentagon: great looking skin. Downloading it now.

Thanks for all the compliments. The icons are an updated version of BlockOS made for WinXP. Most of them are by ChaNinja. LineStudio (the original author of BlockOS) is working on a new version of the set. You can see some screenshots at:

WHERE did you find screenshots of WebOS? It didn't last very long or I would have taken some, myself.

I actually did take them myself a while ago. I made an accurate WebOS skin for my own personal use, but there were some details I didn't really like about it and wanted to improve, and I've always been a fan of the Gnome/KDE bar interface, and I liked some things about the default KDE2 look... so anyway, it all kind of evolved into this.

sweet skin. i guess i could like the min/max/close buttons a little larger, and maybe a rollup/rolldown button? also, should clicking the button in the left corner open the context menu? it doesn't for me.

Oh wow, you're right about the system button not doing anything. That definitely worked at some point during development, I'll mention it on the newsgroup. As for roll/unroll, I have right-click set up to do that with all skins.

Thanks
You've revitalised by interest in clean skins and I've just dug out JTF's old version of WebOS!

Your background is a great Openstep-ish variant - another JTF quality specialization.

I like the double height Start button. It allows the use of big icons on the task bar without having the start button look like a small toupee on a large bald spot. More developers should try it.

I just updated it. New version has a bunch of minor tweaks, including a non-WinXP skinned start button by request. It also includes a wallpaper I made that's very similar to the modified JTF one in the original screenshot, except I made this one so I can include it. Also check out the matching WinAMP skin. rodlouzada, I haven't heard of anyone having your problem before. You might want to post about it on the newsgroup.

I'm having the same problem RodLouzada is... I'm running WinXP home, with an nvidia card (w/ latest official 29.42 drivers) and the taskbar skin works, but there are no titlebar skins for any skinnable applications... Any ideas?

Do other UIS1 skins work for you guys? UIS1 skins show three windows in the preview instead of two.
