pardon me, but I had to laugh when the preview in display properties said...
"lick here to download free ski"

I thought I could hit the alps after two licks... but something about licking my laptop turned me off.
The full text wouldn't fit in the window... but other than that, good show! I've applied it and plan to use it a while.
now... if someone could make an LCARS desktopx theme that worked dynamically, as in with what was present in the directories instead of customizing all the shortcuts... 'hint hint stardock'....

Talderon, read my post to Dagwud below. You need to have the Cleartype setting in effect to smooth the fonts.

I love this! The small fonts were a mess on my desktop system as well. I increased the small font (font0) to 14 and now it displays fine. Perhaps it's a screen resolution thing.

Hi, I love this skin! Like others though, I have some font problems. I have the cleartype setting 'on', but how do I increase the size of the font? Where do I do this?Thanks for any help!

My resolution is 1152 x 864, and it displays fine. I suppose if you're using above that, it might be too small to see. You would have to edit the skin manually to change the font size. If you'd like to know how to do this, e-mail me.

Thanks Aleksyandr, I'll have to try the skin at home. At work I'm on Windows 2000, and an LCD screen. I'm using your lovely Neptune skin at work - nice and clean for the work environment.

Excelent skin, one note though. At some points, for instance the start-menu, the fonts are simply unreadable. maybe a thought for a possible improvement.

I tried it and, true, it worked on the pop-up menu's and windows. My problem still remains in the startmenu though and I'm afraid I'll ruin the whole theme if I just start altering anything at random.

One way to make this better would be to make the buttons on the start bar different colors. Now they're all yellow and then blue, or red, or grey on the side. But, when you get IMed in AIM, a button normally changes color, here only a small blip appears. It'd be nice if they changed colors based on being open, minimized, blinking, etc... Other than that, great job.

Very nice skin! I would like to see the light gray main color much darker. On START menu, the user name is off to the left over the user icon, which was blank. I really like the bars! Great job. I will check back time to time for updates and consider it then! Thanks!
