I dunno why,but I tried to use it,it only applies on the windows and not on the taskbar and start menu,I don't think it's my software.

The start button on my blue one and the task bar are more like 98 and i have XP but all the rest are like XP other than that i love the skins. Are you going to make more colours.

JamesT: I'm having a real problem getting this skin to work. I think it has something to do with the fact that there are 2 .uis files. It seems like you had a main theme and then a sub-theme, but it's not working right. Sorry. It looks like a killer skin.

I'll try and see what the problem is, but it's been working here on both XP and 98. Hmmmmm.

James I haven't been able to get this skin to work at all and it messes up my object as well?

Ok, I've found the problem with the skin not working and am re-uploading now. Sorry for the problem. Seems WindowBlinds creates the directory based on the first alphabetical UIS file instead of the one that is supposed to be the default.

James, thanks for fixing this. It took two tries but now everyting works almost perfectly including the skinning of my object bar. I keep my startbar docked to the left edge of my screen and the desktop text above the task bar it too large to display on my 1024x768 screen, the lower 1/2 of the text is cut off because the font size is too large. Do you know of anything I can do to correct this? Also, what is the little rounded button in the top left of the title bar of plus globes subtheme supposed to do?

Great theme. well done.

The button in the upper-left is for the WinMenu plugin. In the Globes by Jim directory you'll find a WinMenu.reg file, you can edit it to display what ever programs you want then load it into you're registry. Then when you click the button the menu appears. I believe the WinMenu manual was in there as well (WinMenu.html).

Ok, this is weird...I dl'd the update and clicked apply and this blue version skin came up just fine. When I go to the skins tab, the active skin is shown as your grey version of this. The name Globes By Jim - Plus is showing as a blank UIS1 skin and won't apply at all. I see that there are extras for the blue version, including the winmenu.dll and a clock, but neither of them are showing up in the blue version. Also, the blue version isn't showing a sub-theme. Is that what you intended?Sorry about all this hassle, but this is a nice looking theme and I really want to get it working correctly. I'll delete both themes and try dl'ing them both again.

JamesT...I deleted both the grey version and the blue version and dled the blue again and now everything is showing up as it should. I don't think the winmenu.dll is hooked in because clicking on the button does nothing. But I love this skin and won't bother you anymore

Werewolf - In the "Globes by Jim" directory you'll find a WinMenu.reg file, you can edit it to display what ever programs you want then double-click it to load it into you're registry. Then when you click the button in the upper-left, the menu appears. You can read the WinMenu.html file to see how the reg file should be formatted to display your programs.
