Chris: It appears that 2000 may have some issues with the layering in this skin, my work machine has the same issues as your machine plus a couple of additional! I'll speak to Neil about them and see if there is a resolution, if not I'll update the skin with a non-layered version for 2000.
Voodoo_FreaK: It's possible that MorpheusX himself may do a DesktopX theme for this skin.

Mecury, thanks for the tip on where to find the background! As a side note, a wallpaper that goes really well with this skin is "Queen of The Dance", also found here on WinCustomize.

It would appear that the w2k issue is video driver related. I loaded the latest from nVidia and all is fine now on my work machine with all layers in the proper place and order.

This is a great looking skin, but on WB 5, I get lots of magic pink, for example on the WB configuration panel.
Also, when used with WindowFX, it breaks the WindowFX shadowing...
Perhaps it's time for an update to this skin?
