you show a lot of potential and your style is to my liking. I hope we see more from you in terms of WB skins in the future.

I like this skin! It is a grey and cloudy day here now, and the bright colors are making it seem brighter! Everything is crisp and clear...very functional. I like the gradients... the only thing that doesn't really match the skin is the silver scrollbar. It is not as warm as the rest of the skin.

Very impressive.. you said this was a first? That is great, I will be looking for more!

LOL, I didn't realize it was bright until you commented on it, I have a rather dark monitor. I'm glad you like it though.

As for the silver scrollbar, I left it silver to go with the white explorer areas. However, I will change it to orange if anyone else leaves a comment saying they'd like that.

Personally, I prefer more "metallic" skins, but this is excellent for a first skin...in fact, IMHO, it's good compared to quite a few of the things I've seen from some of the more experienced skinners here!

Out of curiosity, what is the font used on the "Start" button?

The font I used for the start button was "Final Frontier", a Star Trek font. I would have included it in the zip file but for some reason I couldn't find it in my fonts folder. Unfortunately, I probably uninstalled it when I was cleaning out my system a couple days ago.

However, there's a bunch of fonts like it if you search for star trek style stuff.

Great skin. What software are you using to modify the taskbar so that the icons are extra large? And does it work with Windows 2000? Thanks!

If you mean the icons at the very bottom of the screen, you don't need any special software.

I simply have the desktop set to display large icons.

In XP:
1) Right click on your desktop and select properties
2) Click on the "Appearance" tab
3) Click on the "Effects" button
4) Check "Use Large Buttons"

I'm not sure, but I think the process is the same in 2000.

This not only makes the icons in the taskbar large, it does the same to the icons on the desktop (so don't do this if you need to keep your desktop icons small).

I've had this skin for a while and have used it a lot recently as sit goes excellently with some of the walss that have come out recently....Any chance that you will be adding shell styles...?? Pretty please (:

I've considered adding shell styles, but I don't think it's worth the bother. I've pretty much abandoned this skin (as you can tell from my response time to your post) Sorry to dissapoint.
