Well, not sure what this has to do with Avril Lavigne... the color red?? the start button? I would suggest you push the design further but without making a skin that just uses picture of Avril.
Maybe a record somewhere or pick the theme of on of her vidoes... I am playing with something for Justin Timberlake only because I love that video, not so much becuase of fan worship.
Anyway, that is my comment.

You have some really good ideas in this one. The positives are: nice task bar, great explorer windows, and scroll bars. The theme seems to fall apart in the start menu. Especially, with WinXP. I guess you are using that version of windows but many people here are. I would have really liked a wallpaper in the zip file. Many wallpapers can be set to load with the theme. That would have been great. I don't know Avril Lavigne and I still don't without wallpaper. Don't give up, this is a good start. I still haven't figured out Windowblind skinning myself and you have done a nice job for a beginning. I think that many people here are spoiled by the great works of treetog and Adni18, so they expect so much even in the beginning. But, don't give up. I'll look forward to your next work.

firstly, i think that this skin has a certain edge to it, perhaps its the title bars, and i have no problem with avril, but i think the start button needs to go. maybe just put the word start there or the stripes from the titlebars, and including a nice pic of Avirl as the wallpaper is a good idea too! keep up the good work!
