My 1st thought when I see a name like "Scarlet" is some gawd-awfull bright bulky eye-sore. I was pleasently surprized with this one. Might just use it for a while.

Red. You're right! It is hard, and you've done an outstanding job.I'm not a fan of red (because it's usually too 'out there'. But you've made it pleasantly muted. Good job.

nice but i've got quiet a lot of "pink" areas With WB 3.50a (vertical and horizontal scrolbars, startbutton combo buttons, etc... runnig WIN 98 2nd

I'll look at it. Its probably because I used targa files for transparency on some of those items. Win 98 probably doesn't like that.

I don't know, i think i get other skins which use targa's without this trouble but perhaps there not on the same items ...
Anyway if you could correct it it should be nice, i like that color and the winamp skin also ..

jcg, for the startbutton trouble, you have to put:
[StartButton]
Image=scarlet\Taskbar.StartButtonImage.bmp
and not pushbutton.tga
For the scrollbars items if i change to:
[HorzScrollThumb]
Image=scarlet\HorzScrollThumbImage.bmp
ShowDot=0
and not ShowDot=1, i don't get anymore the little thing in the middle of scrollbar which background is "pink" if i leave with ShowDot=1
(same for [VertScrollThumb] )
The last thing is coming i think?? with:
[ExtraImages]
Image=scarlet\ComboboxDropDownGlyph.bmp
Alpha=254
Trans=1
anyway, the "pink" color appears with the little image in the corner of vertical and horizontal scrollbars in explorer left side

I'll be publishing an update as soon as I finish adding support for vertical taskbars. Does anyone running XP have the same magic pink problems that neophil is having?
